“The beauty and seclusion of Villa Jubilee are nourishment for the soul. Its construction is testimony to the dedication and craftsmanship of its owners. A real place of peace and comfort.” -- Emily Tipton Williams, Professional Musician and Author, Fort Worth, Texas.
“I was astounded when I visited Villa Jubilee . . . so easy to get to. I wandered for two hours just looking at the beautiful, ingenious design and could not get enough. The hosts are fascinating and delightful folks and they took great care of me. No need to lug linens and pillows and all that stuff. They provide it for you. Makes more room in the car to bring an extra person. I love this place.” -- Jim Brown, Arvada, CO
“Wow! Denver Bronco football games on the giant screen at Villa Jubilee are awesome. And the hospitality? More "wow's". A day, a week spent at Villa Jubilee will lighten your heart and help you appreciate God's wonderful world and people.” -- Dorothy Randall and Lyle Wood, Mesa, AZ
“Villa Jubilee is a delight to behold and experience. Set among spectacular scenery with occasional four-legged visitors, it is a testament to God's creation. Think of a fine B & B in a specially crafted castle with all the provisions for a gathering, i.e. Bible study group, Family Reunion, Business Retreat, etc. We highly recommend this sanctuary for a very unique and memorable experience you can share with others. It is truly a highlight experience.” -- Carl and Nancy Klinke, Texas
“Villa Jubilee is an exquisite place. We strongly encourage other folks to visit. It is out-of-the way but perfectly accessible and a delightful getaway. The building is imposing but comfortable, with LOTS of quiet room, and dramatic views of the mesas, mountains, and plains. Our favorite feature is the huge stone fireplace embedded with old mining implements from the surrounding abandoned mines.” -- Mary D & Sandy White, retired attorneys, La Veta, CO
“We love Villa Jubilee. We have consistently visited over the years and watched the construction process. We used to come and stay in an RV and help. We thank God for the wildly funny and happy memories we have of this place. Seriously, there is no better place to “get away from it all.” It is both grand and cozy, and very quiet and comfortable. It is our hope and prayer that we will be able to return many, many times in the future.” -- Andy Plucker, Producer, Lockton Industries, Denver, CO.
“It is so unusual to find a location where there is such a perfect combination of community space and personal space. There is space to cook, conference, fellowship, laugh, play, and worship together and plenty of personal space to be away from others. The other thing I really love is that it feels so remote, yet it is easily accessible, right off of I-25 in an area of Colorado that many are not familiar with – but should be! – Lori Plucker, H.R. Manager, Bona, Aurora, CO.
“I had the opportunity to spend an evening, over-night and morning at Villa Jubilee last weekend. What a great experience to meet with friends, make new friends and ‘get away from it all.’ This is a perfect place to meet with small- to medium-sized groups in a serene setting. I hope I have a chance to re-visit.” -- Gary Elsberry, D.D.S., Colorado
“Reflecting on our three-day stay at Villa Jubilee brings forth a stream of deeply felt feelings/emotions, including retreat, sanctuary, beauty, spiritual, serenity. From the European villa architecture juxtaposed with modern spacious facilities and private bathrooms, to the open vistas including snow-capped twin-sister peaks, this place nurtures rest, reflection, introspection and personal growth. Thank you for your warm hospitality. It was a memorable weekend for us both.” --David Miller, M.D., Erie, CO
“Villa Jubilee is a very special place to 'retreat’ in Southern Colorado. It is a straight line down I-25 from Denver and Colorado Springs and is well-worth the drive. This new beautiful hand-crafted mansion has an atmosphere of old Europe with a grand entryway, tile mosaics, tall heavy wooden doors and fantastic views from the multi-windowed living area. The sleeping rooms with private bathrooms are lovely. It is situated on the top of a bluff and has the Sangre de Cristo mountains towering over it. A real treasure. -- Judith Miller, Erie, CO
“I can't thank you enough for the good time. Your accommodations are so special, with each fully outfitted guest room having a splendid view of the surroundings. I particularly like the kitchen facilities: they are ample and easy to work within. A most wonderful retreat center!! The movie room needs to be experienced in order to appreciate what is there to be enjoyed. Thanks again for the kind, and generous time you hosted for us. I look forward to many more visits.” -- Dean Dougherty, Trinidad, CO
Villa Jubilee is a very safe place to hide away for renewal, uninterrupted silence or dialogue, and the comfort is unique. Love being there. Thanks for putting it together and then hosting it superbly. -- Ed Richardson, Pastor and Owner of The Refuge, Trinidad, CO
Are you looking for an ideal location to hold a small group retreat? Look no further! Nestled on the cap rock overlooking Ideal Canyon is the one-of-a-kind Villa Jubilee. It is a peaceful setting surrounded by the natural beauty of southern Colorado. You have to experience it in order to appreciate the refreshment it will bring to you. We really enjoyed our weekend at Villa Jubilee. The accommodations were excellent. It was nice and quiet, a pleasant relief from the sounds of more urban facilities. The view was fantastic -- from groves of cedars to unique rock formations and the wide vista of the rolling plains. The southwest decor was comfortable and relaxing.
